Privacy Officer

Ediscom Spa, a well-established Digital Company based in Turin, specialising in E-mail Marketing, SMS Advertising, Lead Generation, SEO and SEM, Native & Display Advertising, is currently looking for someone to join their team as a Privacy Officer.

The successful candidate will work across the group of companies and will report to the DPO, liaising with all departments to oversee compliance with the GDPR. He/she will therefore support colleagues from other departments to:

• assess potential suppliers, in order to ensure that partnerships comply with data protection legislation
• support users of our services to manage their personal data
• cancel users in accordance with the procedure required by data protection legislation
• acquire and check new databases, which are fundamental for the launch of advertising campaigns

What we’re looking for - key requirements for the position

• Three-year or five-year university degree (in law or corporate law)
• Knowledge (also theoretical knowledge) of data protection legislation
• Knowledge of English (B2 level): fluent in writing and speaking

Considered plus points

• Post-graduate course and/or master’s degree in data protection and/or cyber security
• Experience of implementing theoretical knowledge about data protection legislation in company contexts
• Knowledge of legal English

Additional information

The successful candidate will be hired with an employment contract. The job offer will be proportionate to the candidate’s actual level of experience.
